A catch-all feature that is enabled for a specific email mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. To state it differently, if you remove an email address and somebody still sends an email message to it, or to any miswritten email address under the exact same domain name, you will get the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential in case you are running some company, for instance. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited bulk emails, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filters so as to get only legitimate emails in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting
In case you host a domain name on our cloud web hosting platform and you’ve got a cloud website hosting account, you will be able to activate the catch-all functionality for any e-mailbox that you set up under the domain. The Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel comes with quite a few features, but it’s stunningly easy to use, so creating a catch-all mailbox requires just a single mouse click. All the email addresses that you have set up will be displayed in this section alphabetically and you will only have to click the "Catch-all" button pertaining to the respective address. Our system will warn you if there is already another catch-all mailbox enabled for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding enabled, so you can either disable the latter feature or choose another mailbox. Disabling the catch-all feature is just as easy and requires one more mouse click on the exact same button.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
The custom Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each and every semi-dedicated server plan that we offer will permit you to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without effort even in case you do not have much web/email hosting experience. All it takes to do that is to click the catch-all icon, which will be to the right of each mailbox that you’ve set up with your domains in the Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Since you can have just one mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will inform you if you have already configured another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you wish to use has email forwarding enabled. In case you reach the decision that you do not want the feature anymore, you can remove it by clicking once again on the same icon. The Email Manager will also permit you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
